About This Program:
In this time of change and transition, it’s natural to feel stressed, anxious, or overwhelmed. To help, this program offers practical, evidence-supported methods for managing anxiety, boosting positive emotions, and cultivating calm and focus amid turbulent circumstances.
The program draws on mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy, and positive psychology.
Your Instructor: Jon Krop
Jon founded Mindfulness for Lawyers after graduating from Brown University and Harvard Law School, clerking on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and working as a litigator at law firms in Los Angeles and New York City.
Jon has taught mindfulness at Harvard, Stanford, Yale, the Pentagon, the world’s top law firms, Fortune 100 companies, and other organizations.
Jon has practiced mindfulness since 2006 and has studied with teachers from around the world, including psychologists, neuroscientists, and traditional Buddhist masters.
In 2014, Jon completed a seven-month silent meditation retreat.
